A High-Line Adjacent Luxury Co-Op Building with Panoramic Views

The Marais is a luxury co-op adjacent to the High Line, the internationally renowned elevated park. The Marais was the first building to be completed following the 1999 Chelsea rezoning permitting residential use in the neighborhood. Originally conceived as a rental building, Hudson changed the program to co-ops during construction to take advantage of the rapidly improving market for ownership units in the area, and in recognition of the niche demand for rental-sized, for-sale apartments. The building features a rooftop with panoramic views, 24-hour concierge service, landscaped rear yard, bicycle room, and an artisan-detailed lobby with Brazilian limestone and custom Italian wood paneling. Sales were completed in 2003.
