Aaron Koffman

Aaron Koffman leads Hudson’s day to day operations, corporate strategy and its affordable housing portfolio. Aaron relishes the challenge of putting Hudson's best feet forward on public and private competitions for development sites and building lasting partnerships with public, private and non-profit organizations. Aaron has led the rezoning of almost 5 million SF – mostly for newly-constructed affordable housing and community space. Aaron is continually inspired by his Hudson colleagues and thrives on bringing transformative mixed-use developments like La Central, which included over 1,000 newly constructed affordable units, 600,000 watts of solar photovoltaics, roof-mounted telescope and Aarona new 50,000 SF YMCA in the South Bronx and The Peninsula, a 740 unit campus on the site of the former Spofford Juvenile Detention Center with a 54,000 SF small business incubator space, artist studios, daycare and a grocery store in Hunts Point to reality. In 2023, Aaron was selected as an inaugural member of the Brooklyn Power List by the publishers of Brownstoner and AM New York. Aaron is a certified Volunteer Firefighter who earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UC Berkeley and his Master of City Planning from MIT. Aaron serves on the Boards of the NYU Furman Center, Hivewild, NYSAFAH and Coro New York.
