In 2001, Hudson developed and sold Southside Homes in Williamsburg consisting of 84 new affordable two family homes. These homes were distinctively designed to accommodate families and were constructed with a solid brick facade and decorative cornice to blend in with the brick row houses and apartment building in the neighborhood.

Every house at Southside Homes is a full three stories. These are no basements or cellars. The Southside Homes offer generous living space in two separate units with attractive layouts. The larger unit is a spacious duplex on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the house.
