Forest Glen Estates is a proposed new community of 135 single family homes on wooded one-acre lots. The project is located in Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania, near historic Milford and the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Forest Glen Estates is designed as a clustered development that respects and values the striking landscape and topography of the site, conserving almost a hundred acres of wetlands and woodlands encircled by a one-mile walking trail. The project is a partnership of The Hudson Companies Inc. and Targia Development.

The partnership worked closely with the local community, planning commission, and state environmental agencies to craft a project that addresses environmental concerns by eliminating the project’s off-site storm and wastewater impacts. FGE has achieved preliminary state and local approvals and is finalizing detailed infrastructure design to commence construction in 2011.

The project is expected to be constructed in three phases, beginning with approximately 40 lots around the north entrance of the site. The trail, a school bus stop, and essential infrastructure, such as the wastewater treatment plant and stormwater management, will be constructed as well. The project’s later phases will be built out as appropriate to market conditions.
